A commercial for Sony shot in Prague with Johnny Green, in which each floor of a high-rise gets its own sense of space as television evolves from black and white to 3D.
What it was
For the launch of Sony's newest home entertainment range, Johnny Green tracked the progress of television from mid-century beginnings through colour and HD to smart TV and 3D, floor by floor inside one building, ending with a party on the top floor. Produced by Gorgeous.
Technical approach
Chris Parks was stereographer. The stereo gave each room its own space and separation and took advantage of the production design: exploding wallpaper, flying televisions, an oversized fairytale bedroom, horses leaping through collapsing walls and a laser rave.
