A native stereo commercial for the European launch of Microsoft Office, following one of Germany's leading BMX riders through Munich, among the first stereo shoots on the prototype ARRI Alexa M.
What it was
E+P Commercial wanted stereo to get closer to every jump and trick as a BMX rider raced through an urban playground in Munich. Directed by Moritz Laube; Melissa Byers was stereographer.
Technical approach
With help from ARRI, this was one of the first productions anywhere to use the then-prototype Alexa M on a stereo 3D shoot, and the fast tracking shots put the new camera through its paces.
