SIMON DE GLANVILLE

Stereographer
3D Cinematographer

Simon has recently completed work on Mike Slee's 'Flight of The Butterflies' – adding to 3D credits including commercials, feature films and documentaries. Through his extensive work in 3D he has developed a high level of technical expertise as well as a strong creative sensibility.

An award winning cameraman, Simon has been working in 3D for over a decade. He began his career in the late 90’s working with Chris at ImageQuest 3D, where he was intimately involved in the production of 'Bugs 3D' as well as many other stereoscopic projects. Under the apprenticeship of the Oscar winning cameraman Peter Parks OBE, he developed a wide range of technical skills he has carried into his varied career as a lighting cameraman.

Simon has worked all over the world on wide ranging productions for the BBC Natural History Unit, Discovery Channel and National Geographic. He has filmed in the freezing arctic, the hottest deserts, up volcanoes and under the ocean. Long stints in punishing environments have helped him developed a practical, problem solving approach to film making.
